A FLEXIBLE APPROACH

There is more than one way into a therapy

01

Psychotherapy

Explore thoughts, feelings and experiences more deeply, recognising patterns and understanding how they influence life today.

02

Compassion-focused therapy

Find a different way to respond to shame, self-criticism and the feeling that you are never quite good enough.

03

Trainee Therapy

Understand how earlier relationships can shape trust, emotional security and the way you relate to others.

04

Music therapy

Use music and creative expression to explore feelings and experiences that may be difficult to reach through words alone.

EXPLORE HOW MATT WORKS

Some experiences are easy to describe. Others are difficult to put into words. Matt draws on several approaches, choosing what feels appropriate rather than fitting every client into the same approach.

WHAT COULD CHANGE

Therapy can create room for something different

Recognise patterns that keep repeating Feel less overwhelmed by emotions

Respond with greater self-compassion Build healthier relationships

Communicate needs more confidently Move forward with greater clarity

The aim is not to change who you are, but to help you understand yourself more clearly and feel less controlled by what is troubling you.

ABOUT MATT

An experienced therapist with a very human approach

For more than 20 years, I have worked with people whose lives and experiences cannot be reduced to a single problem or diagnosis.

My role is not to judge you, rush you or tell you who you should become. It is to offer careful attention, professional experience and a brave safe place in which we can begin to understand what is happening.
