I offer music interaction sessions for children, thoughtfully informed by the Sounds of Intent framework - an inclusive model that recognises how every individual engages with music differently.
In sessions I carefully observe and respond to each child’s level of engagement, adapting activities to suit their individual needs, abilities, and interests - including those with additional needs. This ensures every child can participate fully and experience success.
Sessions combine singing, movement, rhythm, and sensory play. Through responsive singing, clapping, and playful exploration of instruments, children are encouraged to communicate, connect, and express themselves.
Singing - especially familiar, repetitive songs - supports emotional bonding and helps babies feel secure, whilst toddlers develop early language and social skills through turn-taking, listening, and vocal play. Movement activities such as swaying, bouncing, and dancing enhance coordination, rhythm, and body awareness.
I believe that all children are naturally musical and can develop in surprising and meaningful ways through shared musical experiences.
Combining research-based practice with creative, playful interaction, I offer a warm, supportive space where children and caregivers can bond, grow in confidence, and discover the lifelong benefits of music - one joyful moment at a time.
