Free Psychoeducation
Gain a better understanding of yourself, make sense of difficult experiences, and discover practical ways of supporting your mental health.
I offer free psycho-educational group sessions as a warm, accessible introduction to understanding emotional wellbeing. While these sessions are not therapy, they provide an opportunity to learn, reflect and explore your experiences in a compassionate and supportive environment.
What is the psychoeducation I provide?
Psychoeducation is more than simply receiving information. It can help you understand why certain thoughts, feelings and patterns show up in your life, and how different therapeutic approaches may help. Many people find that when they begin to understand the reasons behind their experiences, confusion can lessen, self-criticism can soften, and a greater sense of clarity, confidence and control can emerge.
There is no pressure to share personal experiences, and you are welcome to participate in whatever way feels comfortable for you. For some, these sessions provide a gentle first step towards seeking support; for others, they offer valuable insights that can be used in everyday life.
Whether or not you decide to continue into therapy, my hope is that you leave feeling more informed, more empowered, and more compassionate towards yourself and your experiences.
