Feel Understood Feel Supported Feel Emotionally Steady
You don't need to know exactly what's wrong before coming to therapy. If something doesn't feel right, we can begin there. Together we can make sense of what's happening.
Therapist • Clinical Supervisor • Consultant • Former Senior Lecturer • 20+ Years' Experience
You may know exactly what you want help with, or you may simply know that something doesn't feel right. You don't need a diagnosis, a clear explanation or all the answers before getting in touch. Together we can begin by making sense of what's happening.
Whether you're struggling with relationship difficulties, overthinking, anxiety, shame, perfectionism, anger, neurodivergence or a difficult period of life, therapy offers a safeness to better understand yourself, feel more supported and find a way forward.
No two people come to therapy with exactly the same story. That's why I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.
My work brings together psychotherapy, compassion focused therapy, music therapy, attachment theory and psychological research to help people better understand themselves, strengthen emotional resilience and build more compassionate relationships with themselves and others.
Alongside my private practice, I work as a clinical supervisor, consultant and former senior lecturer, supporting other therapists and organisations. These experiences continue to shape the way I think about therapy, but my focus always remains the same: caring for the person in front of me.
Matt is such a truly thoughtful and compassionate therapist. He facilitates and atmosphere of safeness that is so essential in therapy.
